Lisdonagh House is a large Irish Country House on a stunning Estate approximately 30 minutes’ drive from Galway city.
Lisdonagh House is available for an exclusive house rental where guests can take over the full house and country retreat exclusively for a two-day minimum for special celebrations with family or friends (subject to availability and on certain dates a minimum of one week’s rental is required). Our private rental facility is equally attractive for families and friends or for business associates. Perfect to celebrate a special occasion such as a family reunion, an anniversary, an engagement, or a major birthday; as a base for a cultural or sporting event, or simply for a group of friends who would like to get away from it all, perhaps to reminisce and have some fun!
Business parties can include corporate entertaining, brainstorming sessions or small conferences, while our secluded settings makes an ideal and secure base for small groups of executives who wish to plan their corporate strategy in private.

The Lisdonagh mansion house accommodates 19 adults comfortably and is very child friendly. Accommodation in the form of self-catering for additional guests that may require accommodations is also available at the Victorian Villa Apartments and the Victorian Gate Lodge.
The House and Estate’s magnificent position set amidst 200 acres of woodland and parkland, ensures exclusivity and endless opportunities to ramble along woodland walks or explore the countryside undisturbed.

Each bedroom has been named after a prominent Irish Artist with four suites offering superb lake views.
